About the event

Why Aware in Motion (AIM)?

Everything we experience comes through attention. Yet, most of us were never taught how to steady attention or guide it where we want it to go. Traditional mindfulness trains this skill, but for many people sitting still feels difficult.

Aware in Motion offers a fresh alternative where you can practice with movement and music. Primary attention rests on the sensations in the feet — the part of us that carries us everywhere, yet is often overlooked. The steady rhythm of simple steps gives the mind something clear and reliable to return to. Each time attention drifts, you can practice bringing it back, strengthening the capacity to become the master of your attention.
